Chinese table tennis trainer Yang Chuan Ning is set to become the coach of the Singapore Men’s Table Tennis team, replacing outgoing coach Alain Chen in December.
Represented by 15 year old Koki Niwa and 16 year Ayuka Tanioka, Japan secured the gold medal in the Team event at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore on Thursday 26th August 2010.
A new name on the roll of honour is a possibility; that is the scenario for the Volkswagen Women’s World Cup to be staged in the Malaysian capital city of Kuala Lumpur from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th September 2010.
YRepresented by Koki Niwa and Ayuka Tanioka, Japan, the top seeds in the Team event at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, booked their place in the final early in the evening of Wednesday 25th August 2010 and then soon after they were joined by the second seeds, Korea.
