After three years pause, from 2006, Jan Ove WALDNER won the title again in the Men’s Singles Event at the Swedish National Championships. In the final of the event legendary star beat Par GERELL in straight games 4:0 (5, 8, 6,7).

In semi final WALDNER overcame Fredrik HAKANSSON 4:3 (5, 6, -6, -9, -8, 6, 8). Another legend, Jorgen PERSSON suffered defeat in the same round against Par GERELL 4:0 (7, 12, 7, 1).
Malin PETTERSSON clinched the crown in Women’s Singles Event. She overcame Carina JONSSON in the final 4:2 (-3, 9, -5, 5, 9, 8). Malin beat Matilda EKHOLM in the semi final 4:1 (6, -10, 8, 9, 10) and Carina overcame Caroline WERSALL4:3 (2, -9, 10, -9, 5, -6, 5).

In the ultimate stage of the Men’s Doubles Event Par GERELL and Jens LUNDQUIST beat Mattias KARLSSON and Robert SVENSSON 3:0 (10, 9, 12). Champions beat Alexander FRANZÉN and Jorgen PERSSON in the semi final 3:0 (7, 8, 1), whilst in other KARLSSON and SVENSSON overcame Viktor BRODD and Jon PERSSON 3:2 (-9, -7, 6, 9, 6).

In Women’s Doubles Event Matilda EKHOLM and Malin PETTERSSON beat Kajsa ANDERSSON and Marie OLSSON in the final 3:0 (10, 6, 5). In semi final EKHOLM and PETTERSSON overcame Madeleine MELCHER and Caroline WERSALL 3:1 )-10, 4, 7, 6). ANDERSSON and OLSSON overcame Sandra JOHANSSON and  Nina VAKKILA 3:1 (9, 3, -6, 9).

In Mixed Doubles Anders SJOSTEDT and Carina JONSSON won the title. In the final they overcame John WALL and Madeleine MELCHER. Kristian and Marie OLSSON, as well as Mattias KARLSSON and Malin PETTERSSON were defeated in the penultimate stage.
