Hello. I would like to know what is THE BEST (as in the world top) rubber which generates the most amount of spin possible...I am an offensive player with a good forehand and backhand and I love looping and chopping. Basically, I am a spin type, and I spin the ball as much as possible, on the serve, and on regular shots. I have seen many different opinions about the best rubber for spin (ex: DHS G666, 729, butterfly tenergy 05, TSP Summit)....but since there were so many different opinions, I wanted to try a thread of my own...so here it is...WHAT IT THE BEST BEST BEST RUBBER FOR THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF SPIN POSSIBLE OUT OF ALL OF THE RUBBERS ON THE MARKET RIGHT NOW? (I do not have a budget...right now I am just looking for the best spin rubber out there...and forget about control and speed...I just want to know the best for SPIN).

TY

If you want it to be affordable, go for Hurricane 3, TG3 Skyline, Tackifire maybe or even Geospin Tacky. Heard they're all good. Skyline 3 is my personal favourite for services and loops though.
M. Maze FL/TG3 Skyline (no. #21 blue sponge)/Sriver L
Primorac Carbon AN/729 Super FX (blue sponge)/Nittaku Nodias
Primorac 2000 AN/Sriver EL/Mystery I 563-1 Long Pips

I said that I don`t care about price....so don`t give me "affordable" rubbers....just give me the best of the best regardless of the price....

The thing with speed, spin, and control ratings with rubbers is that it's entirely subjective. I found MKV to be spinny becuase of my stroke. However, a sriver or a 999 may be a better choice for you. For me, god favored sst was the cure-all.
Blade: Offensive Classic CR
FH: Nittaku H2 Neo 2.1
BH: Xiom Vega MAX

But...isn't Tenergy 05 more spinny than Tackfire?

Do you want a tacky or nontacky rubber?
If it's a tacky rubber you can make it tacky even further by using Spinmax.
If it's a non-tacky rubber the Spinmax has minimal effect.
Main Setup
Blade : Stiga NCT Allround Wood
Tenergy 05 2.1/Bryce Speed 1.9
Chop + Semi attack

Blade : Nittaku ShellShock
Sriver FX 1.7/Feint Long II 0.5

Tacky rubbers generates most spin from the sticky topsheet.
Other rubbers mainly generate spin from the sponge 'mechanical spin'.
Generally softer the sponge = more mechanical spin.
More tackiness = more spin
Main Setup
Blade : Stiga NCT Allround Wood
Tenergy 05 2.1/Bryce Speed 1.9
Chop + Semi attack

Blade : Nittaku ShellShock
Sriver FX 1.7/Feint Long II 0.5

So....if I want the maximum resulting spin either mechanical or normal spin....which is better? Mechanical or normal spin or should I get both a soft sponge and a tacky rubber?....oh yes and btw I do not want to use spinmaxjpfalet2008-11-01 09:57:58
