- To play table tennis without the basic strokes is a bit like building a house without foundation. Therefore every young table tennis player should learn the ABC of table tennis and to do so under competant guidance.
- There are three stages in table tennis. The first is practicing, the second is consolidating what you have learned, and the third is making perfect.
- A good table tennis player is he who hit the right ball at the right moment.

- If a young player is 5 minutes late for a scheduled training session, he will never become a great table tennis player.
- During a match, forget the technique and concentrate on the tactics. You need to think where you are sending the ball, not how.
- In table tennis complete harmony between head and body is crucial.
- He who takes the initiative gains an advantage and probably wins the match.
